Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Each February and March, M-POWER partners with the IRS to provide income tax assistance to qualified individuals in the community.

Individuals earning $36,000 or less may receive tax assistance free of charge. Trained volunteers will assist individuals in preparing and submitting tax returns electronically. This ensures accurate filing and quick refunds without the charges and fees charged by for-profit companies and accountants.
