Each December, M-POWER and Dawson Memorial Baptist Church partner with concerned churches, organizations, and citizens to host "Gifts from the King." This is an opportunity for families, churches, and businesses to provide Christmas gifts to needy families in the area. Volunteers from Dawson plan a Christmas worship service along with activities for children. M-POWER coordinates the gift-matching program.

Applications for Christmas assistance will be accepted beginning September 1 each year.
